ABOUT ME:My name is Rebecca. I attend the Bard Graduate Center in NYC for an M.A. in the Decorative Arts. I earned my B.A. in art history at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have also studied at University of Delaware, John Cabot University in Rome, University of Cambridge, and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. I am an editorial assistant for smARThistory.org, which won the 2009 Webby Award for Best Educational Site.
Main areas of interest include "Barbarian" grave goods, jewelry of ancient cultures, medieval magic, and material and visual culture of video games. Above all, I just love learning. Piacere!

TRAVEL BLOG:For those of you who want to read about my adventures abroad, starting from the very beginning, you may read everything I have posted about Italy in general, about my semester in Rome, or in Milan.
I was minding my own business while going to meet a friend for lunch at school and stumbled upon this ritual. I asked someone what it was an they replied “The Celebration of our College!” Turns out it’s an all male college. They yelled things and dumped water on boys who stripped down to their undies. Fun!
